Few days back brutality of Joseph town of Lahore incident and now Perveen Rehman. May be tomorrow its my turn or your?????? Who knows..........Please every one we need to shake all the political parties who enjoys privileges of government/parliament/Senate when they are in power but never work for people?  They are the one who are forcing people to believe in military role as a better option than the democratic one.

My heart is bleeding and its dripping though my eyes.

Director of the Orangi Pilot Project (OPP) Parveen Rehman was killed in a targeted attack in Orangi Town,

Media reports said that Rehman was targeted while traveling in her car near the Banaras flyover.

Governor Sindh Ishratul Ebad took notice of Rehman's death and has ordered a special team to investigate her case and arrest the suspects.

"Killing a social worker is inhumane," the governor said.

The Orangi Pilot Project is a socially innovative project that involves residents solving sanitation problems of the community.

In the OPP, people pooled up to Rs3,000 a house in a lane to finance, manage and maintain latrines in their homes, underground sewerage lines in the lanes and secondary sewers.

OPP's low-cost sewers changed neighbourhoods not just in Karachi, where it got its start in 1981, but as far away as Battagram in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

It also has a research and development department, covering issues related to other areas of Karachi.

According to NPR, Rehman was working for a famous architectural firm but she left it to work on the OPP. She also headed a research centre in Orangi.

18 people were killed in a Rangers operation in Orangi Town earlier today.
