Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL(Face to Face interview)

Duration: 12 Months

 

Description

Writes and edits very complex technical documentation, including user manuals, job aids, installation instructions, technical instructions/bulletins, on-line help, and other technical publications from document plans and style guides. Leads the research of technical and engineering information, including drawings, design and test specifications, product prototypes, and interviews with subject matter experts. Leads all phases of document development cycle, including project scope and requirements, documentation design, etc. Develops, recommends and implements technical documentation process and policy changes.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Establish requirements engineering best-practices in a technology driven environment
* Assist team members in requirements elicitation, capture, documentation and review
* Manage requirements in RM repository - baselining, archiving, attributing, tracing and versioning
* Assist team in migrating requirements from legacy repositories to Caliber
