Three New News Channels are in pipe line and will be available on cable from March 23,2013. 

CAPITAL TV; Senior Journalist Mr. Fahd Hussain is leading the Capital TV first complete News Channel from Islamabad. The channel is owned by Mr. Ahmed Riaz Sheikh a former Officer of FIA convicted in corruption cases by NAB. His two talented sons are enjoying important positions because of his close relations with Mr. Asif Ali Zardari.

His son Mr.  Basit Riaz Sheikh an outstanding IT professional with PhD in IT is heading U.S.F of the Government of Pakistan as CEO. His appointment is also controversial like Chairman PTA Farooq Awan but he was brought into IT ministry just to usurp the USF Funds and get kick back in 3G lisence awarding game. Mr Fahad Hussain is a senior journalist. He also headed Express News and then Dunya News as Director News and also did prog on PTV News, ARY News, Waqt News and Express News and GEO TV.

AB TAK TV; Senior journalist Program Host and former Head of GEO News and ARY News Mr Nasir Baig Chughtai known as NBC is heading AB Tak News channel. He is pioneer of TV journalism in private sector. With vast experience he is heading New News channel owned by Owners of Punjabi APNA channel and Daily Kainaat. This group also owns APNA Entertainment Kook and 8XM. many senior journalists have already joiined this channel. Mr NBC also worked in Daily Jang and Urdu News Jeddah as Editor.

GEO TEZ;    Mr Azhar Abbas MD of GEO group is heading new channel with team of GEO News. No Lisence was given to them but they will find their way. Mr Azhar Abbas is pioneer Director News of Geo News and Dawn News. He also worked in Telbiz and The News in earlier days.

Daily Jehan e Pakistan also announced  TODAY that they are launching new News channel. just look at their ad
