here is solution...for 1st Q

8 - 0 = 8

8 + 4 - 0.4 = 11.6

8 + 4 + 1 - 1 = 12

now

8 + 11.6 + 12 = 31.6

then 31.6/3 = 10.53

full solution ha 1st ka........plz style change zror karna.

Above table shows different processes arriving in the sequence listed in the table.
Note: In the above case we are considering only a single processor.

a) Draw Gantt chart according to Round Robin scheduling for above scenario. Time quantum is 15.
b) Write down the turnaround time of P3 process according to Round Robin scheduling.
c) Write down the average waiting time for the processes according to Round Robin scheduling.











in that example arrival time is 0 for all processes...while in 2nd Q we have different arrival times like.....0, 10, 10, 80, 85.....

now 1st comes at 0...so straight way gets quantum for 15 units,,,,,,clear?

in using that 15 units......in queue there are 2 more processes have come.....p1 and p2....

now after using 15 quantum....it takes from p0 and gives to p2......and thus after next 15 quantum it gives to p2...while p2 usues only 10 of that and ends by itself....

i think every one has confirm till that...

next begins tricky part..which is that p3 comes in queue when 80 quantum used.....so we can not give quantum to p3 now...because still p3 is not in queue....clear?

what we will do here is that. we will give quantum back to p0.......then p1.....and p2 is al ready finished.....still we can give to p3 as only 60 quantum are used....

again we go back and give to p0.....and total 75 quantum are used....then again we give to p0 and then we give to p3....because now will be 90 quantum are used......then to p4 and then queue goes in fashion as p0, p3, p4.....etc.....

and so our turnaround for p3 comes 60......not 95 and not 15......etc........
