Jang Group's contribution in this regards beyond any limit and it has started bearing fruits even. Mehar Tarar case is one of those achievements as her encounter with Shashi was held during 'sideline meetings' of Aman Ki Aasha.

For the last many years the Jang Group/Geo has taken upon itself the challenge of campaigning for a reform agenda: they have campaigned and continue to campaign for strengthening democratic forces, for exposing corruption across all sectors of society, for the independence of the judiciary, for investing in education (Zara Sochieye), for making fair and honorable peace with India (Aman Ki Asha) and for righting the other ills afflicting our country.

They believe these reforms to critical to lift Pakistan out of the miserable state in which it is and to propel it into the ranks of progressive and successful nations, nations which are a source of admiration and pride for the entire Muslim ummah. Unfortunately there are powerful forces who's personal interests clash with this vision of Pakistan. They have tried their best to dissuade us from pursuing this course. They are hell bent on making us fail because the success of this mission will diminish their own vain glory, the iron grip they have on anything and everything they want. Unfortunately, there is no dearth of collaborators whom they bribe, threaten and force to play this game and act as their proxies.

This is not Victory is not only for Jang Group,this is victory of all forces who belives in truth and peace

کراچی(جنگ نیوز) قومی احتساب بیورو کے چیئرمین قمر زمان چوہدری کی زیر صدارت نیب کے ایگزیکٹو بورڈ کے اجلاس میں بدھ کو اربوں روپے کے اوگرا اسکینڈل میں دو سابق وزیر اعظم یوسف رضا گیلانی، راجہ پرویز اشرف ، توقیر صادق ، اسٹاک بروکر عقیل کریم ڈھیڈی(اے کے ڈی) اور دیگر سرکاری و کاروباری شخصیات کے خلاف ریفرنسز کی منظوری دے دی گئی جو جمعرات کو سپریم کورٹ میں پیش کردیئے جائیں گے۔ نیب کی جانب سے 82 ارب کے اوگرا اسکینڈل میں ملزمان کی نامزدگی نے جنگ گروپ کے اخبارات میں شائع ہونے والی خبروں کو درست ثابت کردیا اور جنگ گروپ ، اس سے وابستہ صحافیوں کو سرخرو کردیا جنہوں نے ملک و قوم کو اربوں کا نقصان پہنچانے والوں کے بارے میں خبریں کسی مفاد اور تعصب کے بغیر صرف ملکی و قومی مفاد میں شائع کی تھیں، جنگ گروپ طاقتور لوگوں اور حکومتوں کے خلاف ملک و عوام کے مفاد میں خبریں شائع کرتا رہا ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے ایک بار پھر جنگ گروپ کو سرخرو کیا ہے۔ نیب ریفرنس میں جن ملزمان کا نام آیا ہے بالخصوص عقیل کریم ڈھیڈی کے بارے میں تمام خبریں سچ اور درست ثابت ہوئی ہیں۔ دوسرے ملزمان سمیت عقیل کریم ڈھیڈی خصوصاً ان خبروں کی تردید کرتے رہے اور دوسرے اخبارات و میڈیا میں جنگ کے خلاف بیانات دیتے رہے ہیں ۔ ایک میڈیا ہائوس اور کراچی کا ایک اخبار میں اشتہارات کے عوض ان کا جھوٹا اور بے بنیاد موقف اچھالتے رہے اور ان کی کوشش رہی کہ جنگ گروپ اور اس سے وابستہ صحافیوں کو بدنام کیا جائے مگر اللہ تعالیٰ نے جنگ گروپ اور اس کے صحافیوں کے سچ اور حق پر مبنی خبروں کے باعث انہیں سرخرو کردیا۔ عقیل کریم ڈھیڈی اور دیگر ملزمان کی جانب سے جنگ گروپ کے خلاف بے بنیادڈ اور جارحانہ مہم اور پروپیگنڈے کا مقصد اوگرا اسکینڈل سمیت بدعنوانی کے کئی اسکینڈلوں پر حکومتی اداروں نے ایکشن لیے اور جنگ گروپ میں اس ایکشن کی خبریں شائع ہوئیں تواس کا بدلہ لینا تھا،خبروں کی اشاعت پر عقیل کریم ڈھیڈی کو برا لگا اور وہ ناراض ہوگئے۔حالانکہ جنگ گروپ نے صرف ملک و قوم کے مفادمیں خبریں شائع کی تھیں۔ عقیل کریم ڈھیڈی نے خبروں کی اشاعت کے بعد محض دکھاوے کے طور پر اپنے آپ کو بے گناہ ثابت کرنے کیلئے جنگ گروپ کو ایک نوٹس بھی بھیجا تھا اے کے ڈی نے ایک چینل اور اخبار کو ساتھ ملاکر لوگوں کی آنکھوں میں دھول جھونکنے کی کوشش کرتے رہے۔ جنگ گروپ پر بے بنیاد، غلط اور خود ساختہ الزامات لگانے کے ساتھ جے ایس گروپ اور جہانگیر صدیقی پر بھی کیچڑ اچھالی اور ٹی وی چینل نے بے جواز پروگرام کیے یاد رہے کہ اس سلسلے میں جنگ گروپ اور جہانگیر صدیقی نے اس چینل کے خلاف پاکستان اور برطانیہ کی عدالتوں میں پہلے ہی مقدمات دائر کیے ہوئے ہیں۔ نیب ریفرنس میں عقیل کریم ڈھیڈی و دیگر ملزمان کی نامزدگی سے ہمارے موقف کو تقویت ملی ہے۔
