6+ Months Contract

$45/hr all inc.

Job Description: Minimum experience 8 years.

The Sr. Developer position is responsible for design, development, deployment, and production support for a transactional middle tier, XML service layer, batch file import and extract, and browser based applications.

• The ability to work in a team environment and take initiative is necessary.

• The ability to do functional design and code reviews is necessary.

• Candidate will focus on developing in a multi-tiered environment. Prior experience with enterprise class application development is a plus.

• Candidate will design and develop software to support real-time transactions and transactions sourced from files.

• Applications supported include a custom data retrieval application, XML web service integration to a high volume web site, enterprise application GUI interface, and several file extract based integrations.

• Strong SQL and problem solving skills are required.

 

Qualifications

• 5-7 years development experience, VB.NET and C# required (currently using Visual Studio.NET 2008-2010 and .NET 3.5/4.0)

• Strong SQL skills (Oracle pl/sql strongly preferred) and Oracle.NET experience.

• Strong Object Oriented development skills and and unit/code testing experience is required

• Browser application development experience (ASP.NET, AJAX, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, client-side scripting, and XPATH) is a plus but not absolutely required.

• Familiarity with automated functional and performance testing using Visual Studio Test Suite is a plus

• Familiarity with LINQ and Telerik/custom controls a plus

• Familiarity with WCF Services (custom service host)

• Familiarity with MVC3 and AngularJS is a plus.
