Cognos TM1 Developer

 

• TM1 Build Cubes, Rules, TI (Turbo Integrator) process
• TM1 Web Forms Development

 

·         Experience in Software Design, Development, and Analysis, Testing, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence tools.

·         Expertise with Cognos Version 8 /10 (Report Studio, Framework manager, Metric Studio, Analysis Studio)

·         Experience in building and publishing packages, managed security issues, designed Meta data models created
consolidated views and presentation views using Framework Manager.

·         Experience working with SDLC like Waterfall and Agile.

·         Involved in the Migration of FM Models, Transformer Models and reports from Cognos 8.3 to Cognos 8.4

·         Proficient in Cognos BI Administration, Installation and Configuration.

·         Developed DMR Models, Query Models and OLAP cubes.

·         Designed and Developed Dynamic dashboards to evaluate the company's performance.

·         Knowledge with Dimensional Data modeling, Star Schema/Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension tables.

·         Proficient with Cognos Security (Access manager, Object level, Data level, Package level, Row level security).

 

·         Proficient in writing Cube Rules, appropriate Feeders and fine tune Feeders for better performance.

·         Created temporary Views, Subsets using Turbo Integrator and populated data for Actuals.

·         Sound knowledge on Work Sheet Functions and Strong Excel skills.

·         Proficient in creating complex Active Forms and enhanced the performance of existing Active forms.

·         Provided Production Support for Applications and Models in Production.

·         Installed TM1 prospective on User's machine and performed Troubleshooting.

·         Integrated Cognos TM1 with Cognos BI and performed BI Reporting.

·         Responsible for assigning user Sign-Ons for the New Users.

·         Increased Performance by Monitoring Stats by Cube and TM1 Top Utility.

·         Performed Troubleshooting by Diagnosing errors by viewing error log files.

·         Scheduled Chores and Monitored Data Loads on timely manner.

·         Knowledge on Cognos TM1 Work flow and TM1 Executive viewer

·         Experience in guiding users through TM1 Web and TM1 Reports.
