Responsibilities include:
- Design and document appropriate web based solutions spanning Intranet, Internet and Extranet.
- Deliver solutions primarily based on the SharePoint 2010 platform along with web based solutions as customer needs dictate.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Sharepoint 2007 and 2010 with ability to provide best practice guidence.
- Tracking emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to business goals and requirements.
- Architect and design n-tiered web based systems, systems integration, and master data management.
- Develop project technology strategy by understanding key client objectives; diagnosing and mapping client requirements; and articulating solution risks and barriers.
- Recommending project approaches; preparing time and cost estimates; and planning full project life cycle architecture.
- Implement architecture by building components and custom designs; prototyping; data migration; maintaining technical integrity and consistency.
- Provide guidence and leadership to other architecture and development resources in a global work environment that includes both on-shore and off-shore resources .
- Work closely with business analysts and software developers to support existing applications and create new products in a fast paced environment.
- Leverage out-of-the-box configuration and deployment of SharePoint custom lists, document types and folders, workflow, InfoPath Forms, views, etc.
