Role: DB2 Developer/Admin/DBA

Location : Dallas, TX

Term: 6-12 months Contract to Hire or Full Time

 

Responsibilities:

·   Proficient in DB2/UDB Installation and administration

·  Stored Procedures/Database Objects Development

·  Performance tuning, Query profiling

·  Should have strong fundamental & conceptual knowledge on all forms of locking, architecture, physical & application (table) level partitioning techniques.

·  Provide assistance to the development team on performance tuning & resolve locking

·  Exposure to database partitioning, replication / cluster, Archiving, capacity planning, Upgrades, Failure recovery: prevent data loss

· Database backup techniques

· Disaster recovery setup (HADR)
