بچھڑنے اور جدائی میں ذرا سا فرق ہوتا ہے
جدا ہو کر کسی سے پھر کبھی کوئی نہیں ملتا
بچھڑ جائیں تو ملنے کا کوئی امکان رہتا ہے
جدا ہو کر کسی کی یاد دل میں رہ نہیں سکتی
بچھڑ جائیں تو دل میں اِک دیا جلتا ہی رہتا ہے
جدا ہو کر کسی کا پیار دل میں رہ نہیں سکتا
بچھڑ جائیں تو دل میں بس اسی کا پیار رہتا ہے
تو پھر اے ہم سخن میرے 
تو میرا فیصلہ سن لے 
مجھے تم سے بچھڑنا ہے 
جدا تم سے نہیں ہونا
