Asslam-o-alaikum
Following the traditions of non muslims is haram. it is clearly mentioned in ahadeeth. 
It is a necessity of western culture to celebrate father's day because the young generation always forget their mothers and fathers. To remind them that their fathers and mothers are alive, they are waiting for you, they have some rights and they need your company, they started celebrate these days.
for Muslims, every day is father's day and mother's day by paying full attention to them.

Father's Day Halaal activities are not Haraam.
Haraam is proven by a Quraanic Aayat or Mutawaatir Hadeeth.

We should be respectful.
