Shazia, I have enclosed here with our customized products. These are inexpensive yet durable. From the blue box, you can use two lights worth 3W each and a mobile charger. The duration of this is eight to ten hours. The battery (in the blue box) will be charged by the solar panel. This package obviously includes the panel shown as well. In another snap, you can see a solar fan. The duration of this is eight hours. The combo of the lights, blue box, battery, 5m wires and solar panel costs Rs. 5500 while the fan + panel are for Rs. 12000. However, we still offer to provide bigger solutions to run your current fans and lights. For this, you have to tell the number of fans and lights you wish to run on the solar panels and also, the duration for which you want to run them on solar i.e. a few hours daily, throughout the day, and so on.

snna spjrr, please find your questions answered below:

<!--[if !supportLists]-->1.       <!--[endif]-->You have not specified the area of the house. Approximately, in an area of  one kanal, to run fans, lights, computers, televisions and fridges, it would cost more or less one million. Note that A/Cs, irons, water pumps, and micro waves are not included in this. Those would require extensive panels, batteries  and all and would thus run higher in capital cost.

<!--[if !supportLists]-->2.       <!--[endif]-->Solar panels required by a house depends on the power required. The installation of panels takes one square foot for every ten watts.

<!--[if !supportLists]-->3.       <!--[endif]-->The price of panels varies from Rs. 95-130/watt. The turnkey solution for one kW  solar PV system costs PKR. 300,000. This includes the whole system (equipment, supply and installation). We use maintenance free batteries and the panels only need to be cleaned with a wet cloth.

<!--[if !supportLists]-->4.       <!--[endif]-->Life of the panels is twenty five years (mono crystalline A rated, TUV certified). The best batteries (gel type) last good for four - five years provided they are kept at optimum conditions.

<!--[if !supportLists]-->5.       <!--[endif]-->For smaller loads like fans, lights, computers, fridges and TVs, etc, you can rely on solar energy for twenty four hours and can also have back up for the cloudy day however, at a lesser efficiency level. But for heavier loads, the solar solution is quite expensive, yet applicable.

Malik Saab, hope you got all the replies now. However, m still open to more queries.

Regards!
