By Muslim Mirror News,

New Delhi, Feb. 25: In a blunder, Indian TV news channels in last two days have flashed an image of a bearded youth describing him as member of Indian Mujahideen who is prime suspect for the Hyderabad twin blasts. Now it has been revealed that the man named Manzar Imam was Member of Pakistan Assembly from Muttahida Qaumi Movement and he was killed more than a month ago in Pakistan.

The Pakistan English daily The Express Tribune in a news report on Sundayhttp://tribune.com.pk/story/512001/indian-media-uses-late-mqm-mpa-photo-for-hyderabad-blasts-suspect/ said Indian media on Sunday mistakenly used an image of the late MPA Manzar Imam for an alleged suspect involved in the recent blasts in Hyderabad, India, Express News reported.

"Imam, a member of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), was killed in a targeted attack on January 17, which the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan have claimed responsibility for," said the daily.

An Indian news channel aired a program identifying eight alleged terrorist suspects who are purported to have been behind the attacks in Hyderabad. The news channel was referring to a member of the Indian Mujahideen (IM), however, used Imam's photo.
